Old Mill Quilts

To quilt or not to quilt? Don't be silly!

And here we are . . .

I started a new quilt. As I sat at my dining room table, cutting some gorgeous fabric into quilt pieces, I felt rather silly. In front of me lies fabrics from Colonial WIlliamsburg, some lovely patterned fabrics from Connecting Threads, and I'M CUTTING THEM INTO PIECES. It's all for a good cause, but I'm cutting up perfectly good fabric. Into pieces. I know when I'm done, it will be lovely.

I don't know about you, but working full time, and taking care of a house, it's so hard to find time to sew, but if I can spend 15 minutes to one hour at a time, I can see progress.

Slowly and over time, right?
